ABOUT US

Guiding Light Hospice

Our History

Guiding Light Hospice was founded when we saw a great need in the community for end-of-life care. For decades, residents of Elko County were unable to get timely, clean, and functional home equipment to comfortably stay in their homes at the end of life. It was also difficult to get nursing staff, personal care assistance, and prescriptions for pain when the patients became too sick to go to their doctors office. Elko and the surrounding areas needed a full-service and licensed provider for hospice and palliative care; thus Guiding Light was established.

Our team is here to support you and your family through this difficult time. We believe life is to be lived to the fullest and we are so grateful for allowing us to be a part of your life.
